Definitions

22-29-102. Definitions. As used in this article, unless the context otherwise requires: (1) Board of cooperative services shall have the same meaning as provided in section 22-5-103 (2). (2) Department means the state department of education created pursuant to section 24-1-115, C.R.S. (3) School district means any school district organized and existing pursuant to law, but does not include a local college district. (4) State board means the state board of education created pursuant to section 1 of article IX of the state constitution. Source: L. 2001: Entire article added, p. 1007, � 1, effective June 5.
